Be wary of phone calls from individuals pretending to be an associate of Story Financial Partners. It’s important to remember: Story Financial Partners will never call, email or text you to ask for personal or account information.
Scammers impersonating Story Financial Partners have recently contacted clients to verify the direct deposit of an insurance payment. This is a scam. If someone calls you claiming to be from Story Financial Partners, hang up and call 1-800-860-0007 or contact an associate you know directly.
Keep these additional tips in mind to help keep your identity and accounts safe:
- Never give out your personal, account, payment, or password information to someone who contacts you out of the blue and demands it. Hang up. It’s a scam.
- Don’t trust Caller ID. Scammers can spoof caller IDs so it shows a company’s name or phone number. And never call back a number form a recorded message or listed in an unexpected email or text.
